The department calls for submitting settlement requests before the end of next Sunday's working hours

The Income and Sales Tax Department called on taxpayers who have pending income and sales tax cases to take advantage of the council of ministers decision and submit their requests to the Settlement and Reconciliation Committee formed in the Department to study and settle the pending cases between taxpayers and the Income and Sales Tax Department , to benefit from the exemption from all fines Before the end of work next Sunday, which is the deadline to define the requests, to exempt by 100% from fines.

While it will be recommended to exempt requests submitted during the period from 1/3/2021 to 31/5/2021 from fines at a rate of 50% and requests that are submitted during the period from 1/6/2021 to 31 / 7/2021 with exemption from fines of 25%.

The department clarified that the taxpayer or his agent has the right to submit a settlement request to the Settlement and Reconciliation Committee, by filling out the settlement form through the department’s website, noting that no sums must be paid for submitting the settlement or installment request, even if the settlement and installment request is submitted by any delegate or agent on behalf of the taxpayer who is  the owner of the settlement request
