 The Director General of the Income and Sales Tax Department, Dr. Hussam Abu Ali, said that rehabilitating and raising the efficiency of auditing and tax collection is an essential basis for the success of the package of tax reform projects undertaken by the Income and Sales Tax Department.

 Abu Ali added that holding a training workshop on the application of the transfer pricing system and international taxes in cooperation with the project of Public Financial Management for a number of the department’s auditors comes within the framework of the department’s plan and its continuous endeavor to raise the efficiency of auditing and auditors in the department and to build their capabilities in a way that enables them to apply best practices in auditing companies’ files Multinational and related companies and address any distortions and imbalances, as well as enabling them to study the reports submitted by companies according to the law.

 The department held a training workshop at the Tax Institute for a number of auditors from the directorates of large taxpayers, medium ,development zone and cases about transfer pricing and international taxes, and to see international practices in this field under the supervision of an international expert in this field, and it lasted for three weeks.

 Today, the Director General of the Income and Sales Tax Department, Dr. Hussam Abu Ali, handed over the certificates to the participants in the program, in the presence of the Director of the Public Financial Management Project, and a number of DG assistants and directors .
