Mr. Mosa Almawazreh the Director-General of income tax and sales department met on Tuesday a delegation of Jordanian university students participating in the program, "the judges of the future" in the Ministry of Justice. And during the visit, the delegation attended a presentation on the development of legislative and administrative stages, and the assessment and collection procedures in force in the Department. as well as inform them of the laws and legislation, regulations governing the work of the Department.
During the meeting, the review of the draft Income Tax Act and the draft law amending the sales tax law currently before the Parliament. and the reforms that the government aims at to the achievement of social justice between the various sectors.
The delegation to the services provided by the Department such as electronic services, which are characterized by the income and sales tax department. Moreover, during the meeting, the department employees answer the many questions posed by students on the role of the income tax and sales objectives and legislative framework.
The delegation's visit comes as part of a tour organized by the Ministry of Justice to familiarize participants with the procedures of related judicial work. The meeting was attended by a number of directors of the Department.
