The Income and Sales Tax Department called on the taxpayers to update their postal and electronic addresses and their phone numbers with the department electronically as soon as any change occurred, in order to enable the department to maintain communication with them in everything related to their tax affairs, especially the notification, decisions and tax claims and any letters issued by the department to spare them any consequences legal

 

The department indicated that updating the addresses includes the update in terms of geographical location, postal address, landline and cell phone, mailbox, postal code and e-mail of each taxpayer to maintain communication with them .

 The department emphasized the need to update the cell phone numbers of each taxpayer for the purpose of communicating with him electronically to deliver an SMS message in the event of any movement on the taxpayer's file and to receive electronic and cellular messages sent by the department to taxpayers for awareness, education, guidance and reminders.

 It is reported that the department has provided the possibility of amending and updating addresses and cell phone numbers for taxpayers on the electronic services icon on the department's website at the link www.istd.gov.jo.
